Whilst the adrenaline rush of sports participation is something to be desired, the downside of sports such as soccer and rugby can often lead to injurys. Now for the professional sportsman, getting injured is not much of an issue. They get access to the finest physiotherapists and spend their time in rehabilitation. By implementing a sports injury insurance policy you will be effectively protecting yourself should the tackle come in late and you end up getting injured. Many injuries involve time off work and this is something that could ultimately effect your employment status.

Many people in full time employment put their jobs at risk by getting injured, as some employers take exception to their having time off sick, particularly those who do not understand sports.
